In 2018, James Beard Award winners, Chef Tyson Cole of Uchi and Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue, opened Loro when they merged their two loves of Asian and Texas cuisine together. About Strouderosa BBQ

What started out as a salsa to enjoy as a family, turned into sharing with friends and family, then people asking for jars. In 2018 founder Matt Stroud started canning the salsa and was used as the jalapeno BBQ sauce at a food truck. In January 2020, Matt started smoking meats and preparing meals for the holidays. They now do Meals of the Week and cater events.
